Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has expressed strong confidence in the capabilities of former President Goodluck Jonathan, stating that he would excel in a future presidential role. This endorsement comes in light of a non-governmental organization urging Mohammed to consider a presidential run in 2027, where he was honored as the “Champion of Peace, Unity, and Development.”

He noted that many of the infrastructural developments in the northeastern region stem from Obasanjo’s administration.
