Austin Okai: Yahaya Bello Is The Worst That Ever Happened To Kogi State Says Nigeria Is Drifting Towards Anarchy,.

A stalwart of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Kogi state Comrade Austin Okai has stated that the spate and persistent banditry, killings in the country indicates that Nigeria is drifting towards anarchy

In a statement personally signed by him, Okai lamented the worsening situation in the country and what the common man is passing through under All Progressives Congress party APC led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The fiery Kogi politician noted the rise in insurgency and the inability of the present government to arrest the situation, describing it as a symbol of total failure in the nation’s intelligence gathering mechanisms and the security apparatus.

He warned that the incessant killings of Nigerians by bandits and fulani herdsmen could pose a threat to the unity of the country if it go unchecked and arrest of the perpetrators should be carried out immediately.

“This shameful situation must come to an end. We cannot continue like this or just fold our arms and allow these monstrous activities of fulani herdsmen to continue unabated. The consequences of the dastardly acts on the psyche of the Nation unity can only be imagined. President Buhari must act now before things get out of hand,” he queried.

Comrade Okai warned that the precarious situation could make people to start taking laws into their hands, he urged the government to look into the security structure in the country and reposition it for results oriented.

On the situations in Kogi his home state, Okai described Gov. Bello administration as the worse thing that has ever happened to the people of the state. He said there is a complete absence of governance in the state in the last five years.

According to him Gov. Yahaya Bello administration has subjected many in the state to unforgettable hardship, thereby sending some to their early graves due to the unpaid civil servants salary.

He said under Gov. Bello the local government administration in the state has collapsed denying the grassroots dividends of democracy

He appeal to the people of the state to keep hope alive and not despair, saying that God would free the state from the hands of ungodly leaders of APC in 2023.
