Being a press release issued by Igala Youth Council ( IYC) after an Official Congratulatory visit led by the President, Hon. Collins Onogu to His Royal Majesty, The Attah Igala and President Kogi State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni II, at his palace in Idah.
IYC Congratulated the Attah Igala and the entire Igala people over the recent Federal High Court ruling, returning 3 more Local Government Areas to Igala kingdom namely Ajaokuta, Lokoja and Kotokarfi, bringing Igala LG to 12 in kogi state.
IYC called on all Igala sons and daughters world wide to be United in this prophetic victory for Igala kingdom.
IYC promised His Royal Majesty of the Support and Loyalty of Igala youths world wide.
HRH called on all Igala youth group to work together with IYC to bring development to Igala land
HRM called on all Igala people to continue to maintain peace and be law abiding citizens amidst this God given Victory.
HRM, the Attah Igala appreciated the group for the visit and enjoined all his subjects to maintain peace and harmonious coexistence.
HRM further opined that, the victory which is though aimed at setting the records straight, was not meant to vilify any tribe or ethnic group as it is merely a collective victory for all against the obnoxious machinations of the Colonialists.
He said, the Federal Government was sued because, it inherited the deliberate burden left behind by the White people.
