Attah Igala pays courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Steel Development to discuss issues of national interest

The Attah of Igala and President, Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Opaluwa Oguche Akpa CFR on Friday, May 10, 2024, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu in his office to discuss issues of national interest and progress of the Igala Kingdom.

The Attah Igala lauded Prince Audu for the strides he has achieved in moving the steel industry forward within a short period since he assumed duty as Minister of Steel Development, expressing confidence in him that the steel revival plans of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR will materialise.

The royal father also commended the minister for the role he has been playing in uniting the people of Igala Kingdom, the entire people of Kogi State, and pushing for their best interests at the federal level.

The Attah Igala also thanked the Honourable Minister for his recent visit to Omala local government area to visit the community in which many people were brutally attacked and murdered by the bandits and for his kind donation to the victims.

Receiving the Attah Igala, the Minister thanked him for the honour of paying him a visit in his office and to discuss issues concerning Igala Land and Kogi State, which the Royal Father is very passionate about.

The Honourable Minister described the Attah’s visit as a blessing and a great privilege of his life, assuring him of using his position judiciously for the positive development of Igala Land, Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
