Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar played host to a high-profile delegation at his Asokoro residence, led by former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai, who came to request the hand of his daughter, Hafsat Atiku Abubakar, in marriage.
The esteemed guests included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and former governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, among others.
The intimate gathering was a testament to Atiku Abubakar’s respected status and the significance of the occasion, as he gave his blessing for his daughter’s union.
