Asuku Is A Worthy Son,Reliable and Am Proud Of Him; Gov. Bello

The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello has described his Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku as a worthy son who in many ways have justified the confidence reposed on him as Director-General of Protocol and now the Chief of Staff to the governor.

He said, Pharm. Asuku is a young politician with wisdom of an elder and as the Chief of Staff, he initiated series of programs and empowered a lots of jobless youths and idle women. He lifted many poor citizens of the state above poverty level.

The Governor spoke in Okene at an empowerment program organised in honour of Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku as part of event to mark his birthday on Saturday 2nd January, 2021.

The Governor was represented at the event by the Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad.

The Governor emphasized the various health intervention programs targeted at the poor and restored hope to the hopeless, put smiles on the faces of many poor citizens of the state. Asuku’s scholarship programs for the less privilege and orphans are complete definition of a young man with a large heart, am indeed proud of him, the governor said.

Highlights of the event was the presentation of cheques to some widows and orphans captured in this year edition and commissioning of motorised borehole at Abdulaziz Attah Memorial College (AAMCO) to ease the water problem of Inike, Etahi and Idoji communities.
