Arsenal have €60m bid for defender rejected

According to a report from Sportitalia, the Gunners made a huge a €60m bid for Bayer Leverkusen central defender Edmond Tapsoba.

The offer was rejected by the Bundesliga outfit, who clearly value one of their prized assets at a far higher figure.

As a result, Arsenal have turned their atetntion to Brighton’s Ben White, who is likely to cost a similar fee but will also help Arteta with the homegrown quota, as is the Premier League requirement.
