In the name of Allah The Most Beneficient The Most Merciful. All praises and thanks to the AlMighty for giving us the strength to endure all the happenings of the past seven (7) days. Loosing a loved one is not easy, however, I am consoled by the fact that Allah is Most sufficient to all.On behalf of my entire family I will like to appreciate all those that condoled us over the demise of our brother Major General Hussaini Ahmad.
My special appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Faruk Yahaya for his show of concern, despite his busy schedule he took it upon himself to personally come and commiserate with us in our trying period. My respect Sir.My profound appreciation to all the members of Course 40 (His Course mates) for the show of love, solidarity and support. My sincere appreciation also goes to both serving and retired officers and soldiers. Thank you very much for the love and concern. To his friends and all the friends of the family, more especially those from Maiduguri and environs, I say a big thank you for the solidarity. Words will not be enough if I am to individually mention and appreciate each and every person that was there for us.
Hussain was a people’s man, I never knew the level until after he was no more. To my mother, his wife and my siblings, we should be strong and continue to pray for the repose of the gentle soul of our dear Hussaini and the safe return of our beloved sister in sound and good health. It’s indeed a trying period for the family, however, we should be consoled by the fact that Allah only try those he love most.
