APC National Women Leader, Congratulates Female Ministerial Nominees

National Women Leader of All Progressives Congress(APC), Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma has felicitated with the seven newly appointed ministers, by President Mohammadu Buhari to his cabinet Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa in her congratulatory message issued in Abuja, said the appointment of the seven carefully selected new female minister to the federal cabinet, was well deserved .

“It gives me great pleasure to congratulate these women achievers; Dame Pauline Tallen, Sadiya Umar Farouk, Sharon Ikeazor, Amb. Maryam Katagum, Zainab Ahmed Shamsuna, Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu and Gbemisola Saraki, on their nomination as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria” National Women Leader expressed confidence in the ability of the new ministers, with versed experience and distinguished backgrounds,will contribute their own quota to the development and advancement of APC and indeed Nigerians .
“I am indeed proud and very confident that whatever Ministry you are all assigned, you will bring to bear, your various degree of expertise originating from your diverse backgrounds and individual competence which will enhance the advancement of the ideals of our Party and indeed our Nation’s developmental goals”.
She promised to partner with the new female ministers, in their onerous tasks to fast track the development of the country,the Women folk,to justify the absolute confidence of the President, Muhammadu Buhari in adherence to the fulfilment of 35% global affirmation of including women in his cabinet during his second term in office “As a committed and optimistic advocate of women leadership in government, it has greatly gladdened my heart that His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has put into motion, the fulfillment of his promise of 35% inclusion to us women in his second term in office”.
She urged the newly appointed cabinet ministers, to demonstrate the conviction of President Buhari on their appointments, to enable them showcase their various acumen into public glare,while thanking Mr President for this rare opportunities and privilege “Your nomination has therefore, further convinced us of His Excellency’s commitment to gradually provide a level playing field where women can truly aspire and bring to bear, the effective use of their critical skills and leadership potentials for the overall good of the Nation; so thank you Mr. President!” .
Mrs Salamatu Baiwa advised the newly appointed ministers to use their new offices, to bring to bare particularly on the women,by and large the entire citizenry, so as to justify the reasons for their appointments “The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.”
She reassured the new ministers of her unalloyed support and charged them to carry along the women folk in all shades and opinions,as they will be looking up to them for the transformation and advancement of their course, in all endeavours of national development “So, as you take your place within the Federal Executive Council, do not forget, that the teaming and resilient women of this great country are looking up to you and I pray that God gives you the guidance to make the difference”.
Hajiya Salamatu Baiwa thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for considering the carefully selected women worthy of appointment,promising their display of adequate knowledge in the services of their fatherland
