APC leadership: Ganduje is just sitting, almost behaving like Abdullahi Adamu- Salihu Lukeman

The immediate past National Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) North-West, Salihu Lukman, during an interview with The Punch, talked about his problems with the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, and why he remains the most misunderstood politician, among other issues.

While he was reacting, over claims that he has problem with the choice of Senator Abdullahi Ganduje as a replacement after Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s removal as the All Progressives Congress’ national chairman, Lukman said that Umar Ganduje is just in office but doing nothing.

He said, “Well, we removed Abdullahi Adamu, and brought in Ganduje. But, Ganduje is just sitting, almost behaving like Adamu. I am sorry, with due respect to him.”

Further talking, he said, “No meeting is taking place. Sometimes you see people paying courtesy visits. It does not amount to meeting all the obligations the constitution has imposed on him as the national chairman of the party. I think these are the issues.”
