APC Convention: Yahaya Bello Reveals What He Will Do If Buhari Pick Any Consensus Candidate

The Governor of Kogi state and presidential aspirant on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Yahaya Bello has revealed what he will do if President Muhammadu Buhari pick any consensus candidate.

Naija News gathered that the APC is set to conduct its presidential primary election on Monday and Tuesday respectively.

It was earlier scheduled that the party would hold its convention at the Eagles Square in Abuja on June 6th to 8th, 2022.

Governor Bello disclosed that any person President Buhari picks as consensus he would gave the candidate total support in tye forthcoming elections.

He however noted that the recommendations of the northern governors to shift power to the south is not favourable to him and does not bind on him.

The presidential aspirant revealed this while speaking with channels Television politics programme on Sunday, June 5th, 2022.

He added that having won the support of about 60% delegates of the party, it is to early for him to hurry and withdraw.

He said, “If it comes from President Buhari himself, I will support the person 100 percent if I am not selected. If it is any other person, I will support the person because that is his wisdom. He knows better than me and he sees better than me. ”
