APC Caretaker Committee To Visit Tinubu Tuesday, Commence Reconciliation

Tinubu Remains a valuable asset to APC, Says Buni

The Mai Mala Buni-led All Progressives Congress Caretaker Committee and Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee has agreed to  visit the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Tuesday or before end of the week.

APC Caretaker Committee resolved to meet Tinubu during the inaugural meeting of 13 members appointed by NEC last week, held at Party National Secretariat, Abuja.

Giadom Hands Over To Buni

The meeting that lasted for over two hours start with formal handing over by Victor Giadom to Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni.

Recall that Giadom took over as the Acting National Chairman following affirmation of Adams Oshiomhole’s suspension by Appeal Court on June 16, 2020.

Buni reportedly informed  the committee members that Tinubu remains a valuable asset to the party

FactualTimes gathered that the visit would be avenue to reassure the former Lagos governor of their respect him and seek his support for ongoing peace building and reconciliation process.

Mai Mala Buni in his inaugural address after the inauguration of committee promised to reposition the party and commence the process of true reconciliation among leaders and members of the party at all levels.

APC Caretaker Chairman said, “It is time for this committee therefore to commence the process of true reconciliation among leaders and members of the party at all levels. It is our belief that the decision by NEC to constitute this committee will mark the beginning of a new chapter in our great party.”

“Changes are inevitable and disagreements on issues and concepts are an integral part of human and institutional relationships. As a political party built on strong ideology and, parading men and women of enduring principle and integrity, we must prepare for real and anticipated changes and their consequences. The outcomes of changes that evolve in our party politics must be decided by us.”
