Anger Among Bello’s Commissioners, Over Sharing of Monies, Entitlements,Assembly Members Says

Governor Yahaya Bello has seemingly created discrimination among his serving commissioners by paying Idris Asiwaju, Commissioner for Finance, Commissioner for Justice, Deedat, Okala and Ododo, State Auditor General and that of local government N37 million each, though, they called them super commissioners and aides to the state Governor..

Bello, who just paid what he called the motor vehicle allowances. He was supposedly expected to buy them cars, but he decided to give them the money,in the spirit of monetisation.

Some commissioners are said to be very seriously angry , as Special Advisers got N10 million, and Senior Special Assistants got N3 million each, as he has also increased other commissioners entitlements from N10 million to N17 million each.

Meanwhile, the new development did not go down well with members of the State House of Assembly,as they got paltry 10M each, less than the current cost of Prado Jeep as official cars.

The state Assembly through the speaker were decieved int approving fresh loan of 20 Billion in anticipation of paying off their entitlements which included vehicles and other utilities, but the State Governor insisted on parting with 10M each, for state lawmakers.

As at press time, the faith of monies meant for Constituency projects of state lawmakers is still uncertain, many years after assumption of duty.

This is responsible for the dearth of social infrastructural developement in all the state constituencies one Kogi state.
