The choice of Capt Idris Wada, immediate past Kogi Governor as the Chairman screning Committee for PDP in the forthcoming Governorship election in November, shows the party wants to get things right towards 2023 general elections.
A youth leader in PDP,Alhaji Alhaji dropped this commendation saying the former Kogi Governor is tested and trusted political leader, that will get things right towards the success of the party in Anambara and Nigeria at large.
He challenged the party to imbibe the culture of deployment of people of proven integraty like the former Kogi Governor,stating that winning an election in Nigeria is not the party,but the choice made by the people.
He assured the people of Anambara state that PDP will form the next goverrment in the state,with Capt Wada as the electoral screening Committee Chairman for the primary election.
‘We have alot of confidence in the choice of the former Governor heading the electoral screening Committee for Anambara state,it is an assurance that he will prove his mettle.’
‘The former is a protagonist and advocate of sane democratic practices,laced with transparency and fairness.’
‘I urged PDP once again to sustain this practice and tempo of politicians with proven records of high integrity like Capt Idris Wada,so as to guarantee the general acceptance by Nigerians towards 2023.’
He congratulated the former Govenor on his choice as the Chairman screning electoral Committee to Anambara,saying no doubt he will deploy his distinct wealth of experience towards choosing a popular and acceptable candidate for PDP and the people of Anambara state.
