One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello was found sitting inside the dock at the court in Abuja.
The former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, appeared at the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), following his reported arrest by EFCC officials on November 26, as initially reported by The Cable.
A photo of Yahaya Bello seated in court, shared by The Cable, has sparked reactions online. Senator Shehu Sani commented on the development in a post on his official X account on Wednesday, pointing out that the sports personalities and movie stars who once frequently visited Lokoja have now distanced themselves from the “white lion.”
Here is what he wrote on his page;
“All those sportsmen, beauty queens and movie stars who used to visit Lokoja have now abandoned the white Lion. Fair weather”.
