Alhaja Safuratu Olowo Installed As ‘Yeye Oba’ of Labaka Oja.

Alhaja Mrs Safuratu Olowo was on Saturday installed as the new Yeye Oba of Labaka Oja in Ilorin metropolis, Kwara state.

The event which took place at the palace of the traditional ruler of the town was witnessed by dignataries from all walks of life.

Chief Mrs Safuratu Olowo, the new Yeye Oba of Labaka Oja retired from the services of Lagos State government in July, 2021, after attaining her retirement age.

Mrs Safuratu, nee Idris Oloko-oba is one of the daughters of Alhaji Idris Oloko-oba, a title holder in the community and Oba Yoruba of Ankpa in Kogi state of blessed memory.

She was honoured for her legendary community service spanned for many decades during the life time of her late patriarch, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Idris Oloko-oba.

Chief Mrs Safuratu, a daughter of the soil and Lagos based, stated that she will use her new position to attract development in all areas to the ancient town of Labaka Oja community in Kwara State.
