The Liason office of Kogi state government lodge in the high brow Asokoro area of Abuja is thrown into darkness over the indebtedness of the state government to AEDC.
This is coming twice in a year ,as sometimes last year,water and electricity connected to the liason office was disconnected for months.
This is also amidst the clamour over monumental corruption allegations boadering on the finances of the state running into Billions of Naira.
Investigations further revealed that the action of the state was deliberate not to expose the direct aides of the governor to the spoil of office.
It will be recalled that securtiy details,domestic and other staffers attached to the Kogi Govenor are permanently accommodated in the Kogi governor’s liason office at Asokoro Abuja.
While others maintained that inability to pay the electricity bill is the direct responsibility of the permanent secretary, Government House Administration or the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
As at the time of this report,the only residence in darkness around the state government liason offices in Asokoro, is the Kogi liason office Abuja.
