After Media Bashing, Gov Bello To Flag-off Ganaja Fly Over Bridge Again, says he will release money for the project.

Governor Yahaya Bello has approved the release of N1.3billion Naira for the construction of Ganaja flyover bridge in Lokoja, Kogi state.

In a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris, in Lokoja on Tuesday, the fund for the Ganaja flyover project is part of the N3.8billion released for capital projects across the state in the first quarter of year 2021.

The statement said the contract for Ganaja flyover bridge was awarded to Messrs TEC Engineering Construction Company at the sum of one billion, three million Naira only.

The award and subsequent release of fund for the project is in fulfillment of Governor Bello’s pledge to the people of the state in his new year broadcast on the first day of 2021.

In the new year broadcast, Governor Bello that contract for the Ganaja flyover will be awarded in the first quarter of 2021.

He said marking of structures to be affected for compensation is already completed and the original designs are being expanded to include a comprehensive overhaul of Lokoja township roads.
