After Losing Party Structure, Ganduje goes to Harvard, transfers power to deputy

The Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has travelled to the United States of America to participate in a week-long programme at the Harvard.

A statement issued by the commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, said Mr Ganduje is attending “Authentic Leadership Development Programme” at Harvard Business School, Boston.

He said the governor has transmitted power and given full mandate to the deputy governor, Nasir Gawuna, to serve as the acting governor of the state.

The statement added that all official transactions henceforth should be channeled through the office of the Deputy Governor for necessary action.
