All Farmers Association of Nigeria AFAN,Kogi east chapter has honored Comrade Usman Austin Okai over his selfless service and advocate for good governance both in Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
In a presentation made on behalf of the state and National body at Igala House in Anyigba,the body described the social crusader as a true son of the soil with leadership traits, praying that the Lord will continue to look over him in all his endeavors to better the lots of the people.
According to the awardee,the current generation and yet unborn will continue to eulogise your strides not only towards good governance,but a virile society,where justice, equity,fair play overrides personal interests and sentiments.
Responding,Comrade Usman Austin Okai thanked the body for finding him worthy of the honor, promising not to let them down now and in the nearest future.
