Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has reappointed Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, as special adviser on culture and tourism.
The 38-year-old screen diva announced the reappointment via an Instagram post on Sunday.
“Grateful to God and my Boss, His excellency, Gov Udom Emmanuel for the re appointment to serve in the tourism sector of our dear State.
Ini Edo got her first appointment as Governor Emmanuel’s special adviser in 2016.
She was appointed United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy in 2014.
Since kicking off her professional acting career in 2003 with the movie Thick Madam, the University of Calabar English graduate has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.
“I look forward to great accomplishment and milestones in this new era,” the actress wrote.
