Warn Onoja To Stop Parading Himself As One
Impeached Kogi Deputy Governor, Simon Achuba has warned the newly sworn in Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja to stop parading himself as one,as it amounts to illegality for a state to have two Deputy Governors
Achuba made this statement during an interview session on Channels Television, that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state is setting a dangerous precedence and constitutional crises, out of his desperate desire to return to Lugard house in November
He said the panel set up to look into allegations against him over his misconduct, did not found him wanting in all,not even one,but was removed out of inordinate political desire of Kogi governor
Chief Achuba appealed to Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mohammed Tanko and the National Judicial Service Commission, not to overlook the current charade in Kogi ,as it negates the principle of sane democratic practice not only in Kogi, but the entire country
He said despite the illegality involved in his haphazard removal ,he was also detained for about 24 hours, under house areest by the state police commissioner, on the instructions of Governor Yahaya Bello
Former Deputy Governor,Simon Achuba said Kogi Lawmakers decision was a bizzare, unlawful and utter disregard of the Nigerian constitution

He insisted that he remained the deputy governor of the state till January 2020, when another adminstration will assume office, saying the decision of the lawmakers and state Chief Judge is a nulity in the eyes of the law
