Acheju Abuh: Igala Vanguard Tackles Senator Jibrin Echocho For Defending Her Killers, Demands Apology.

Igala Socio-cultural group,Igala Vanguard has demanded an apology from Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, representing Kogi east who once defended political thugs that gruesomely burnt PDP woman leader in Ochadamu Mrs Acheju Salome Abu, Ofu local government area to death,saying his response to the ugly Incidence on the floor of the red chamber as ‘retaliatory’ was uncomplimentary and unparliamentary deserving public apology.

A statement signed by Engineer Lawrence Akpa to mark the two years of her death and the launching of the foundation,he challenged both the state and federal government to hasten up the judicial process of bringing perpetrators of the dastardly act to book,so as to avoid recurrence.

He accused both governments of shying away and playing politics with the day light murder of PDP woman leader,stating the obvuous of their reactions to the unfortunate event.

Aside unraveling the culprits and bringing them to book,the state and federal government through the National Council of Women Societies of Nigeria NCWS is expected to design a program that will compensate, enlighten and educate Nigerians on the need to stop such awkward tendencies, not only towards women who are vulnerable,but even the menfolk all in the name of politics.

He also accussed the parent Ministry of Women Affairs under Paulen Tallen for looking away from the whole ugly issue, because Mrs Acheju Abu is not an APC woman leader, forgetting that whether APC , PDP,APGA death can come to anybody at any time.

He urged the senator representing Kogi east and federal lawmakers and state Assembly members from kogi east, Kogi state to work out a humane disposition and ensured the federal government immortaliss late PDP woman leader,Mrs Acheju Abu who was gruesomely murdered.

He urged the international communities, international women groups to rally round the families of the late political icon,to ensure her immortalisation,constant rememberance to discourage such unpalatable situation in our polity going forward.

Akpa wondered the grave yard reactions of the Civil Society Organisations CSOs,Non Governmental Organisation NGOs in Nigeria towards the plight of the families of late political matyr.

He said the ghost of late Acheju Salome Abu will continue to haunt Kogi east Senator,Jibrin Isah Echocho over his unguarded and inactions as a representative of the victim of the political bringandage.
