There is no doubt that events from the last week wards and local government congress, had given edge to the likely candidacy of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim idris in the next month’s primary election, to pick who will fly the flag of the party in Kogi state
It is now to the public knowledge that delegates and some aspirants gunning for the leadership of the state under PDP, should begin to sum up their minds to throw their weight behind the aspirations of the indefatigable and undefeatable Abubakar Ibrahim, to move the state from the present awkward generation of governance
The decisions of the delegates and the aspirants who before now had been under illusion of carrying the day, is now apt,to choose between the good governance and welfare of the people of the state,to self centeredness,that may not stand the taste of time or yield the desired results
Gradually,the position of the Kogi PDP delegates to the governorship contest is titled towards the nomination of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, as panacea to the myriads of Kogi problems engineered by ungodly leadership qualities to exterminate the populace by Alhaji Yahaya Bello
It will be a disservice for aspirants to take another route, aside the impending decisions of the PDP delegates, based on the outcome of the last congress and the likely next month’s primaries that will move towards bringing Abubakar Idris as a consensus candidate
Thank God,the qualities of Abubakar Ibrahim Idris is a match to the current administrative anomaly in Kogi and aberration, geared towards bridging the gap between maladminstration and good governance in Kogi herald by the November governorship election
We must realise that there is no group or associations as well as body, more of a political party goes into an election with a disjointed and dilapidated or rather fragile position,particularly in Kogi when our common enemy,must be shown the way out in November as the only alternative will be Abubakar Ibrahim
We must be prepared to make sacrifices towards good leadership having tested the ugly part of leaders in the last four years, that alone should serve a a guiding template that will likely prompt our ressolve to accept Abubakar Ibrahim
The general acceptance of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim will trigger joy of relief from obvious laxity of leadership and intentional rulers with non decorum, that had exterminated potentials that will transform all facets
It is germane and needful for our aspirants and delegates to commence thorough and sincere alliance towards the November primaries, having seen the handwriting on the wall in favour of Abubakar Ibrahim,so that collective and joint efforts will be deployed to approach the November election, that is like a fight between the prophet and the unbelievers
So much has been said towards the September and November election,as Abubakar Ibrahim had the advantage of age,exposure,connections,innovations,interactions as an employer of labour in a wholly private sector, geared towards driven the global economy and on the whole,has the ability to deliver on people’s mandate
Abubakar Ibrahim is not retired and not tired and does not need similar people around his envisaged government to quickly bring back the lost glory of the state, under this kindergarten and Yahoo Yahoo adminstration
A stitch in time saves nine,it is always the tradition that people must aspire,agitate and struggle for an appointment or elected office,but not everybody is expected to occupy same office,but with similar spirit the desired results shall come to pass, through the nomination of Abubakar Ibrahim Idris
