A New Dawn for Edo State: Congratulations to Senator Okpebholo and All Edo People By Kassim Afegbua

The echoes of victory resonate throughout Edo State, and it is time to celebrate! The recent electoral contest has concluded, and despite the wailing and rumbling that often accompany such events, the outcome is clear: the people have spoken, and the choice is Senator Monday Okpebholo as the new Governor-elect. While some may gnash their teeth in disbelief, the winners are rejoicing, toasting to a well-deserved victory that reflects the will of the electorate.

In the aftermath of elections, emotions run high—tears of disappointment for some, and laughter of triumph for others. The political landscape was fiercely contested, with the PDP, APC, and LP all vying for dominance. However, it is the APC’s Senator Okpebholo who has emerged victorious. Despite the mockery and derision from opponents, many recognized his dedication and connection to Edo State, lending their unwavering support to his campaign.

Senator Okpebholo is not just a politician; he is a man deeply invested in the growth and development of his homeland. His humble beginnings as a vulcanizer and panel beater resonate with the populace, demonstrating his ability to relate to both the common man and the elite. As he prepares to take office, there is a pressing need for a leader who can mend the broken infrastructure and restore the social fabric of Edo State.

Today, I extend heartfelt congratulations to our dedicated supporters and benefactors. Your steadfastness and determination throughout this electoral journey have been nothing short of inspiring.
