Kogi: Again, Yahaya Bello Goes For Another N18 Billion Naira loan, State Assembly Secretly Approved The Loan In Speaker Lodge

After forefeited N19.3 billion to Federal Government of Nigeria, Governor Yahaya Bello has directed the state Assembly for an express approval of N18 Billion Naira Loan for Infrastructural development from the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN.

The sources within the government house who disclosed this information to the OBSERVERS TIMES also confirmed that the speaker who hurriedly convened the meeting snubbed the members request for the inclusion of their official vehicles in return, though Speaker Kolawole who told them he is only interested in securing the loan for His Excellency, told the frustrated members that whenever they meet the governor they can raise the issue.

Though, the aims of the loan is to recover the 19billion EFCC has siezed,in another forms of loan for the state government, currently Kogi state is financially drained and the governor who is also in the race for the President can’t make progress, without liquid cash at his disposal.

The loan documents will be handed over to the three senators from Kogi state for express signature for onward push, OBSERVERSTIMES recall that kogi state lawmakers are yet to have their official vehicles two years into their official legislative years.
