The proprietor of Lifted Pharmacy in Kabba, Kogi State, Pharm. Ganiyu Moses Ozimata has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
Eye witness account said Ozimata was trailed as he left his shop located at Bolorunduro street Kabba and and headed to his residence in Fehinti quarters around 7pm on Tuesday.
The abductors reportedly rode in a golf three salon car.
The unknown gunmen swooped on Ozimata as he was about entering his house and ordered him into the waiting salon car at gun point.
This incident occurred barely three days after the kidnap of Pharmacist AbdulAzeez Obajimoh, the Managing Director of AZECO Pharmaceutical company at Ozuwaya in Okene, Kogi State.
Reacting o the new wave of crime, the State Security Adviser, retired Navy Commander Jerry Omodara said government is aware of the resurgence of kidnapping and other criminal acts.
Commander Omodara assured that government is working round the clock to arrest perpetrators in the next 1 week.
