Chief Ogwu Onoja SAN, builds and furnished three class rooms school for a community in Ogugu.

To improve access to quality education for residents of Adumu community in Ogugu Central, of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi  State, the Philanthropist  and legal icon, Chief Ogwu Onoja SAN through Deacon Job and Mrs Omada Onoja Foundation, (DJMOOF) has built a befitting three class room well furnished for the people of Adumu Community Secondary  schools .

The school, which has 3 classrooms, common rooms, toilets,  others, would replace the old school building of Adumu community in Ogugu.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony,  said Commissioning of a furnished block of three class rooms built by Deacon Job and Mrs Omada Onoja Foundation to honour my beloved wife, her family and her beloved community of Adumu in Ogugu, Kogi State is  to address the challenge of decayed infrastructure in the education sector.

Chief Onoja through his speech said the overall objective is to enhance teaching and learning to make education very interesting for school children.

On behalf of myself, my dear wife, Rosemary Onoja, nee Negedu, who is a co-founder of Deacon Job and Mrs Omada Onoja Foundation, (DJMOOF), theChairman and members of DJMOOF, I humbly welcome you all to the Commissioning of a furnished block of three class rooms built by Deacon Job and Mrs Omada Onoja Foundation to honour my beloved wife, her family and her beloved community of Adumu in Ogugu, Kogi State.

The Foundation, abbreviated as “DJMOOF”, is a non-political platform jointly envisioned with my wife, Rosemary in honour and memory of my late parents to assist the indigents in our communities.Consequently, in furtherance of the objectives of this foundation, we have over the years jointly invested our Godgiven resources to ameliorate the lives of those deserving of our little assistance in the areas of scholarships for students of tertiary institutions, payments of school fees,

The community leader who inspected the school with other stakeholders, expressed delight at what he described as the beautiful edifice built for his people.

“I want to thank Chief Ogwu Onoja SAN and his lovely wife, Mrs Rosemary Onoja on behalf of our people. Thi school is something our people will cherish for a long time”

Headmaster of the school on behalf of the entire teachers thanks Chief Ogwu Onoja SAN and his wife said more pupils have enrolled in the school since the completion of the project.
