Eid al-Fitr : Dr Prince Yakubu felicitates with Muslims

As Muslim faithful celebrateEid al-Fitr on Thursday , Chief Executive Officer Prince Global & Partner Ltd. Dr Prince Yakub Yakub. Galadima Ankpa Kingdom on Thursday tasked Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic, religious and political divides to fervently pray for the unity, peace and stability of the nation.

In a Sallah message the Dr Prince Yakub called on Muslim faithful in Kogi state and Nigerian in general to use the occasion of Eid-el-Firtir to to build a peaceful and harmonious country.‎

“We should remain strong, remain resolute because there are lots of challenges in the country.”

While wishing all Nigerians well, Dr Prince Yakub advised that “we should work together to push this country forward,” adding that “we should continue to pray for the wellbeing of everybody in the country.


The Chief Executive officer said political leaders and followers, religious leaders and their adherents must come together and forge a harmonious relationship for the love of their country.

Quoting from the Holy Quran Q41 v 46 which says: “Whoever works righteousness benefits his own soul; whoever works evil, it is against his soul: nor is thy Lord ever unjust to His servants,” Wada said the pursuit of truth and justice at all times should be the watchword of those who hold the affairs of the nation in their hands.

He added that oppression, inequality, wrong-doing, defying right and justice, transgressing the boundary of God on earth are the bases of problems confronting the country, urging Nigerians, in the spirit of the festival, to rededicate themselves to the cause of serving their creator, country and humanity as a whole.

Finally, Dr Prince Yakub Yakub stressed the need for Nigerians to love one another irrespective of their religious beliefs and the ethnic group they belong to.

He said love and tolerance of each other would enhance the rapid development of the country.

The former military head of state also prayed for the safe return of Nigerians in the holy land.
