The spiritual leader of the Tijanniya movement in Kogi State and Hasken Failat,Alhaji Mohammed Shakur Yunusa has appealed to Moslems to continue to practice peace,love and kindness among themselves.
In a Sallah message to the people of Kogi State to mark the end of this year’s Ramadan season,Alhaji Shakur stressed the need for Moslems to continue to toe the line and the lessons of Ramadan fast.
He urged Moslems to be their brothers keeper and report any suspicious movement to law enforcement agencies, in view of securtiy threats to lives and properties all over the country.
Alhaji Shakur asked Moslems to distance and dissociate themselves from hoodlums who claimed to be moslems but engaged in kidnappings, banditry and herdsmen attack activities,saying such attitudes is against the practice of Islam.
He wished Moslem brothers and sisters many more years of Sallah Celebrations in good health and happiness.
