Abubakar Ibrahim Idris turbaned as Ochada Onu’Ife

Alh. (Chief) Abubakar Ibrahim Idris has been turbaned today as the Ochada Onu’Ife by HRH Chief B.U. Musa, the Ojogba Ife and Chairman, Omala Traditional Council at Abejukolo, Omala LGA, Kogi State.

Speaking at the Turbaning Ceremony, the Royal Father described Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim as a Quintessential business man cum politician who has used his vantage position to be a blessing to the community.

The Royal Father urged other Politicians and individuals from the area to emulate the good examples of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, described him as a worthy son of the soil in whom he is well pleased.

Speaking, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, described the honor as a recognition that would spur him to do more for the people of the State now and in the coming years.

He assured that his contribution to making the society a better place to live in would be sustained, thanked the Royal Father for finding him worthy of the prestigious title.

The ancient city of Omala LGA felt the presence of personalities who thronged the sleepy town to witnessed the crowing of a man many referred to as a pacesetter and philanthropist per excellence.
