Oyo state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has urged the people of the Ondo state to reject the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for the sake of economic progress of the state
Governor Seyi Makinde, who joined the campaign on his way from Edo state after successfully election that returned Governor Godswill Obaseki for the second term.
Makinde is the PDP Chief campaigner for the Eyitayo Jegede and PDP campaigns for the Ondo state gubernatorial election.

On our way back home from Edo State, we stopped in Ondo State to join the campaign train of our great party, Peoples Democratic Party PDP candidate, Tayo Jegede at Ogbese Town, Akure North Local Government Area.
