Fani-Kayode Separates From Wife, Precious Chikwendu

by

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has reportedly separated from his wife, Precious Chikwendu.
News of the separation was broken by popular blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus on her blog.
Chief Fani-Kayode, however, denied many claims made by Dimoko Korkus in the report, describing them as spurious.
The blogger, among other things, attributed the separation to domestic violence orchestrated by the former Minister.
The claim, though, was brought under serious disrepute by investigative journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo who took time to talk to Mrs. Precious Chikwendu’s relatives.
In one of the recorded conversations, an uncle to Mrs. Precious Chikwendu, one Pastor Pkey Onyemachi, blamed his niece, Precious for the violence and not the other way round.
He confirmed that on more than one occasion, Precious was relieved of a knife she used to threaten the husband, even the children, and any other person around who dares to come close to her, including her aunt.

Regarding the allegation that the triplet sons may not have been fathered by Fani-Kayode as they were conceived through IVF and that Chikwendu demanded a DNA test, Pastor Joy Onyemachi, Precious Fani-kayode’s aunt who lived in their Abuja mansion for 3 years caring for her late sister and even the triplets after birth, debunked the allegation.
She said that Mrs Precious herself requested to have all her children at once so that she could enjoy them while young and Fani-kayode “gave her a delicate but safe fertility treatment conceiving TRIPLETS”.
Listen/Watch:
Dr Olunloyo informed that Mrs Precious Fani-Kayode was at a time committed to a mental hospital for 3 months but begged to go home after 3 weeks and was treated outpatient.
She, however, reportedly stopped taking her medications and became more violent following which she left her home and was found roaming the streets of Abuja.
Chief Fani-Kayode has, meanwhile, written a pre-litigation letter to Stella Dimoko Korkus demanding N2 billion from her for a report he termed libelous or face lawsuit.
In the letter signed by his lawyer, Mr. Adeola Adedipe, dated September 16, 2020, the former minister described the report as preposterous.
He said he was disturbed about the manner in which the report was written which insults the sensibilities of unsuspecting readers.
The letter read in part:

“Our client is aggrieved and has instructed us to draw your attention to these libelous breaches of his person and family.
“By this publication, our client has received denigrating phone calls and messages across the globe by virtue of which he now sufferers immeasurable loss of goodwill.
“However, he is inclined to draw a curtain over the wild and spurious claims if you retract the allegations on the same platform they were published and consequently apologise to him in two other national dailies.
“You are also advised to enter into negotiations with us for the sum of two billion naira only being a token amount for penitence.
“Please bear in mind that you have 14 days from receipt of this letter to comply with the highlighted mitigating measures, the failure of which will leave our client with no preferred alternative than to seek redress in court.”
Precious Chikwendu, a former beauty queen, welcomed a son with Fani-Kayode in 2016 and subsequently welcomed triplets shortly afterwards, all boys.
