SSS says Mailafiya ‘had profusely apologized’ spewing fake news during interrogation

The State Security Service, SSS, has revealed that Obadiah Mailafiya, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, had profusely apologized for using fake news to mislead the public.
The service in a statement by its spokesman, Peter Afunanya, said Mr Mailafiya was part of a group that take the advantage of the security challenge in the country to cause “a total breakdown of law and order.”
