National Assembly Service Commission Approves Top Management Appointments To The Service.

The National Assembly Service Commission(NASC), has approved the appointments of top management staffs in the service .
The five new appointements duely signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission,Engnr.Ahmed Amshi kadi,has Ojo Amos Olatunde as Ag Clerk to the National Assembly.


Others are Bala Yabani Mohammed,Ag Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Dauda Ibrahim El-Ladan, Ag Clerk of the Senate,Patrick A.Giwa, to remain the Clerk of the House of Representatives pending his retirement in November,2020,and Yusuf Asir Danbatta,Ag Secretary, National Assembly Service Commission.
The Press release stated that the appointments takes immediate effect.
The Executive Chairman says the appointments was made ‘Pursuant to it’s mandate as provided in the National Assembly Service Act 2014(As Amended) section 6(b) which states “appoint person’s to hold or act in the offices of ;
I Clerk to the National Assembly
Ii The Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly
111 Clerk of the Senate
1V Clerk of the House of Representatives
V Deputy Clerk of the Senate
V1 Deputy Clerk of House of Representatives.
VIi Secretaries to directorates; and
VIII Holders of other offices that shall be created by the commission on the recommendation of the Clerk to the National Assembly.’
According to the Chairman’s release,the approval was given by ‘The National Assembly Service Commission at an Emergency meeting held today, Friday,17th, July,2020 has approved the appointments of some Senior Management staff for the service’.
