Counsel to Engr. Musa Wada, the Governor hopeful of Kogi state, Jibrin Okutepa (SAN) has expressed optimism of his client clinching the Lugard House as governor at the appropriate time.

In his reaction to the Supreme Court judgement affirming Engr.Musa Wada as the authentic PDP candidate by a 5-man panel of Justices on Friday, the legal mindsfield applauded the verdict.

He vowed that his client would continue the suit challenging the declaration of Yahaya Bello as the winner of the 2019 governorship election in Kogi State.

He believed that Engr Musa Wada won the election, while disputing the Tribunal judgment. He has filed the appeal against the Tribunal judgement while the date of hearing is being awaited.
