Following the increased number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in some parts of the country, the Kogi State Government has placed seven persons in the state on community isolation under strict monitoring for a minimum of 14 days.
The Kogi State commissioner of Health, Dr Saka Audu disclosed this on Tuesday while giving an update on the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
Dr Audu said Kogi is yet to confirm any case of Covid-19
Throwing more light on the isolated persons, Dr Audu noted that they have had previous history of travel to Covid-19 high risk countries within the last one month.
According to him, five of the isolated victim are from Lokoja, while the other two are from Ajaokuta and Okene Local Government respected.
