A lot of measures has been put in place within the country and the states Governors too have risen up to the occasion but there’s a disconnect or missing procedure somewhere. If the efforts are not coordinated, it will not yield any impact.My understanding is that the country has come under invasion due to our brothers, sisters and visitors entering Nigeria from the endemic countries, and for goodness sake why should we allow them to enter the country and mingle freely with people without proper quarantining and profiling and certified free of the infection.
My advice to the commander in chief is that the ministry of health should set up compulsory quarantining centers and camp facilities with the little resources at our disposal and make sure that who ever enters this country by road, Air and sea are compulsorily taken for quarantining and certification before they can mingle with thier family and the people, without this, we shall continue to deal with circulation and serial transmission of the infection and the number will keep swelling and innocent people will continue to go down.
We have to attack the problem from the root cause rather than combing the surface. Arrange military trucks at the airport to drive passengers coming into Nigeria to the quarantining camps. We need courage to do this to slow down cross infection. Thank you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
