For his determination and dogedness to fight against sub standard and fake products and services, FCCPC top shot, Babatunde Irukera has bagged on Business Day in public service Award for 2019 .
According to the program of award, FCCPC boss made the list of government Departments, Agencies and Ministries that was conferred with the prestigious service Award.
The investiture body, Business Day commended the unequalled efforts of the FCCPC to protect wholly consumer rights and priviledges both in products and services.
‘For an astute and committed professional who is unapologetic and unrelenting in doing right for consumers.’
Business Day maintained that in view of the resistance of some bodies who were being denied their attitude of ‘Business as usual ‘ through checks and supervision of the FCCPC,the global image of the country had really improved tremendously for it’s prompt action .
‘Few condemn, but most commend, few jeer, but most cheer. Your conviction and determination has brought us far and will take us farther.’
The FCCPC boss said this will encourage the organsition to do more to protect lives and properties of hapless Nigerians and visitors, to the country whose intentions is to patronise supplies and services .
