People’s Democratic Party Campaign Council has rejected the posting of the administrative officer to Governor Yahaya Bello, CSP Aminu Mohammed back to Counter terrorism unit (CTU), ,as he had acted as mercenary to the state government PDP in a media statement alleged that the officer was responsible for the midnight attack and disruption of the Party’s primaries, held at the Confluence stadium to curry automatic victory for governor Yahaya Bello in November election.
CSP Aminu Mohammed ap/no 86224, redeployment to CTU is aimed at manipulating election for Kogi governor. Aminu notorious for illegal duties and movement as well as protection of APC armed thugs, has been carrying out dastardly and Illegal duties for the state government The council described his redeployment build up to election as questionable and unacceptable, while urging the IG to urgently remove him and the state CP to other states, along with Commander of state SARS, Ibrahim Abba Gana .
The Council opined that his retention in CTU for the next election, will mean the police IG has deliberately exposed members of PDP to the killer squad of APC and Yahaya Bello, usually led by CSP Aminu Mohammed The activities of the said officer is highly unprofessional , unethical,unbecoming that had dented the image of the police in Kogi and Nigeria at large “More worrisome is his ideas of contacting similar notorious officers across all commands of the police for cash,to unleash violence in the state in the last four years, under the protection of the state government”,the Council said PDP also used the opportunity to further call for the removal and replacement of those officers who have abandoned their primary job and taking to personal guards of APC and top government officials,saying most of the men and officers are attacking dogs of the current administration against the electorates and PDP.
