Lokoja Federal Constituency said the worst has happened over political appointment in the current dispensation of Governor Yahaya as the area deserved Chief of staff slot,promising to pay the governor back in his own coins
Koto Development Association in a statement issued by it’s protem secretary,Akawu Mohammed said the people of the area are only recognised for election victory and not good for appointment
According to Akawu,the appointment of the new Chief of Staff or the Director General protocol to the governor among other positions, were handled during the previous administration diligently with experience and performance by the people of the area
He said the glaring marginalisation of the people of Lokoja/Koto will be redressed in the PDP government,as the area will prefer Engineer Musa Wada to Kogi Governor,Yahaya Bello in the forthcoming election
The new Chief of Staff does not have the basic experience, prerequisite knowledge to become the COS to the Govenor,as his performance as the DG protocol was continuous learning on the job that had retarded government programs and activities
Governor Yahaya Bello’s action is a clear statement of ethnic Politics and preference he preached against in the public,but not in action and appointments
He promised to redress the current anomaly, lopsided actions of the state government in the area of appointment in the next election due for November
