Ojuju Agbadufu Igala, a social -cultural group has passed a vote of no confidence on the current leaders of Igala Cultural Development Association(ICDA),and ordered the immediate dissolution of the body
A statement issued by the President of the body, Ukwenya Christopher accused the ICDA of galring partisanship and the preference to non Igala agenda towards the build up to the next month Kogi Governorship election
The spokesman said the activities of the umbrella body in the current dispensation under the leadership of the present executive live much to be desire,having involved itself in the promotion on a non Igala candidate of APC under the guise of ‘Enemuneme’ agenda and banner
He said the body will swing into action by this Wednesday by reaching out to the Board of Trustees(BOT), to ensure the partisanship of the current executives of ICDA does not affect the welfare and development of the Igala race negatively, towards it’s support to Igala candidate for November election
Ojuju Agbadufu frowned at the open meddlesomeness and support given to the present adminstration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello,the state governor and APC candidate against the PDP Candidate of Igala extraction,Engineer Musa Wada towards Kogi governorship election by ICDA
Ukwenya Christopher said the Igala nation’ is determined and focussed to speak with one voice and approach the November election with a formidable action, to support the Igala candidate,Engineer Musa Wada of PDP
He expressed shock on the activities of the umbrella body of the Igala nation’,hidden under goverment patronage to debase the integrity of the Igala race
Ojuju Agbadufu said under no pretext or guise will the people of Igala nation vote for any candidate,apart from Engineer Musa Wada the son of the soil,saying the banner clearly displayed at Agbeji junction supporting Governor Yahaya Bello’s candidacy in the November election is of no effect,null and void
He urged the Igala nation not to be decieved into continuous sufferings and denials by few disgruntled elements, who are self centred and believe in personal aggrandisement to the detriment of the people of Igala land
