South east Indigenes resident in lokoja, has endorsed the PDP candidate for the November Governorship election,Engineer Musa Wada
The people of the south east,predominantly Ibos said there decision to endorse Engineer Wada, was basically to vote for PDP, the official party for the people of the area and protect their crippled business interest in the last four years
The spokesman of the people from the south east,Mr Odinaka Chukwu Ikeoha assured the PDP candidate of victory in the November election,promising to fulfill their electoral promises
He said the Ibo group in lokoja is out to mobilise other members across kogi state,to ensure mass support for Engineer Musa Wada in the next election
According to Ikeoha,the Ibo Indigenes have never had it so bad across kogi state,like it is happening in the present dispensation in kogi,as all the business interest of our people have gone under,owing to harsh taxes and taxation by the state government
‘Most of our businesses in the state capital lokoja and other locations in the 21 local government has been crumbled first by non payement of workers salaries and pensions and now over taxation and double taxation all in the name of generating internal revenue ‘
‘We are determined to embrace Engineer Musa Wada of PDP to bring back life to our business,our family and good living ‘
‘Even in Onitsha and Lagos,the commercial nerves of this country,such astronomical and unaccounted for revenue is not prevalent there as most of our business location has folded up over bad tax policy in kogi’ Ikeoha said
He urged other tribes with location in kogi, to vote PDP candidate ,Engineer Musa Wada to bring back the lost glory and commercial activities back to the transit state capital of Lokoja
