Dr Joseph Erico Ameh and wife Mrs Hannah Ameh met with Pdp women leaders in Kogi State to discuss their involvement in the forthcoming primary election.
Mrs Ameh pleaded with the women leaders to support her husband considering his nature as a humane, humble and generous man. A man of his words who talks and do whatever he promised.
At the event Dr Ameh Erico discussed his proposed 500 million women empowerment initiative which would empower about five hundred party women. Prior to now most government usually abandon women after election leaving them to suffer and toil to support the family. Empowering women is creating the financial relevance for gender equality. An empowered woman can easily participate in politics and governance.
Dr Ameh Erico promised to start the Empowerment scheme as soon as he is voted as governor of Kogi State given priority to the women leaders.
They were given forms which automatically enlist them to the opportunity.
The state women leader Olori Margaret Orebiyi thanked Dr Erico for his support to the women of the state since he joined the race in 2017 earlier than any other contestant. She said Dr Erico has been the only one offering assistance to them and the party .
