PDP Governorship aspirant,Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris has praised the NWC of the party for a great job and high level determination of the delegates to produce an acceptable candidate that will flag the party’s ticket in November election
Abubakar bare his mind after witnessing the ward and local government delegates in Omala local government in preparation for the forthcoming election in the state
He told the delegates that kogi’s destiny towards good governance lies in the right decisions of the delegates devoid of any manipulations,insinuations and sharp practices geared towards returning the state to the path of honour
The Governorship aspirant used the opportunity to debunk insinuation in certain quarters, of attempt by former governor Ibrahim Idris to hijack the process,saying as a party leader,there was nothing wrong about him monitoring the exercise
Abubakar Ibrahim assured the delegates of good governance when elected both in the next month’s primaries and the November election slated for later in the year
He enjoined the delegates to be patriotic and show course for the desire of PDP to install good governance in Kogi,by casting their votes for him
Abubakar said some of the party’s aspirants who have retired from their chosen career, has no business running for the leadership of the state
He warned the delegates to avoid similar decision that led the party into loosing the governorship election in the state in 2015,saying his age and exposure will be a greater advantage to the party,state and the people
Abubakar Ibrahim congratulated the people of the state over his impending victory in the September 3rd primaries,promising a new dawn if given the mandate to pilot the affairs of the party in the November election
