There are over 62 aspirants contesting for the post of the governor,but amongst this numbers some found themselves in the race because their father wants them to via for the post and sustain the family legacy,while others are in the race in other to retain their lost political glory and a large numbers of the list are in the race to win and make money from exploiting the people’s common wealth.
It is bitter,but it is the truth.
But amongst them all,DR VICTOR ALEWO ADOJI’s emergence is totally a reaction to the endless call from different bodies,elites,unions and the victimized people of the state.
It is a call for liberation that has come in different phrases and at different points,it is a yearning inspired by the varies and series of maladministration,recklessness and the abuse of power.
No people oriented individual,especially the one that has the people at heart like Adoji that will hear all this mitigation and oppression of the people that has come in different shades and colour and not come to the aid of his people –
Thus,like we have been agitating,we must give true leadership the chance this time,we must put aside gains and interest and channel our support towards the victory of an aspirant who has been with us,who has all the needed idea and resources that we need as a state to solve our present problem.
The Kogi problem is compounding and if care is not taking and the right decisions are not taking we are likely not to get it right this time,the present government has jeopardise every opportunity at the disposal of the state it therefore behoves on us to allow some one who can swing into action and begin to correct all the errors that has been accumulated over the years.
The state has the resources to compete with every other big state in Nigeria,all we just need is a good managerial skill and knowledge which is what DR VICTOR ALEWO ADOJI is offering at a time like this.
The state is in die need of a more accountable leadership who will be investful with public funds and asset and ensure that there is a good return for every kobo that leaves the account of the state,an aspirant who sees the resources of the state as the common wealth of the people and will strive daily to ensure that this wealth is properly harness to the benefit of the people and not to himself.
Adoji as a beautiful democrat will ensure that the already hijack freedom of speech and the right to developmental advocacy are well admonished and accommodated in the state,through this the new government will be able to correct and take decisions that will instigate the “development for all” that spearhead the VCONNECT AGENDA.
It will also bridge the long and over due gap between the government and the masses,the less privilege and the privilege,the Majority and the minorities,those in power and those who are not,it will sustain an open government that will be responsive and properly involved in every affair that concerns the development of the people.
