Former director seaview properties limited in the Nigerian port authority and governorship aspirant of the people’s democratic party in November governorship election in Kogi state, Engr. Musa Wada, has been identified as the best suited for the position of governor and number one citizen in Kogi state.
A press statement by a group , the alliance for Kogi Development initiative, based in Kogi state, zeroed in on the former port boss because of his many good qualities as well as his interest and deep concern for the well-being of young people and all kogites in general.
The group said in the statement signed by its secretary general, Dr. James Tanko, that Engr. Musa is highly recommended because of his acumen in running public businesses, his detribalized nature, his compassion and philanthropy and his abiding interest in the progress, unity and development of Kogi state and people without discrimination.
The statement noted that Engr. Musa Wada is a tested and a leader who has been working in the public sector for over 3 decades before retirement. Engr. Musa Wada is known by discharging his responsibilities with a sense of purpose and integrity.
The statement noted further that even within the limited space available to him during his days in the service, Engr. Musa wada acquitted himself as a defender of law and democracy and one who would not swap the interest of the people for his own favors. Engr. Musa Wada has always separate himself from those who arrogated to themselves the ignoble position of godfathers in politics.
The statement reminded that another quality of which make the Ata-Odu as he is called by his people the best choice for the Kogi people; is that, he is a hardworking man who has given job to so many kogites in the Nigerian port authority (NPA) and consequently is well-wired to replicate same peradventure he is given the opportunity to lead the state thereby ensuring that thousands of kogites are shielded from hunger, unemployment and destitution.
With Engr. Musa wada in the helm of affairs, Education in Kogi state would have a champion who from experience and interest would deal a deadly blow to current low education standard confronting the state plus the vexed issue of the right type of education to guarantee future employment and unleash the entrepreneurial endowment in Kogi state youth.
The statement urged all kogites irrespective of political affiliation and ethnic origin to reflect passionately on this Matter and join hands with the PDP and other patriotic kogites to ensure that Engr. Musa Wada, “the educationist and philanthropist who loves his state and people is not only on the ballot for November, but goes on to get the people’s mandate to get Kogi state from the emergency ward for the good of all.
