The Nation reporter arrested at #RevolutionNow protest in Calabar

Police have reportedly arrested a Cross River correspondent of TheNation newspaper, Nicholas Kalu.
The paper said the correspondent was arrested on Monday during the RevolutionNow protest in the capital, Calabar.
Two other protesters were also allegedly arrested at the Cultural Centre muster point opposite the Etim Edem Motor Park.
Chairman of the State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Victor Udu, has condemned Mr Kalu’s arrest.
“I condemn the act totally. The journalist was just doing his job. He did not go there with any weapon.
“He went there with his jotter and pen. We call for his immediate, unconditional release,” Mr Udu said.
Another journalist with Sahara TV, Victor Ogungbenro, was arrested on Monday during the protest in Lagos.
