Ahead of Kogi state November 16 governorship election, the facts has emerged why Kogi East may lose the Peoples Democratic Party PDP ticket to a soul and anointed candidate of kogi West or central, over the weekend the leaders of the Kogi central has endorsed Adobanyi Averehi as the only candidate for the PDP for the zones with such pronouncement coming from the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland has send a very strong and clear signal to other part, with Senator Dino melaye, only of kogi West, the development that pose serious threat to Igala dominated majority of kogi East quest to reclaim power soon, THE OBSERVERS TIMES can authoritatively confirmed.
With over 2304 delegates to grab and Kogi East has 985 delegates with nine (9) aspirants.
Kogi West has 849 delegates with only Sen Dino Melaye as their candidate.

Kogi Central has 470 delegates with only Mr Bayo Adobayi as their candidate.
Though It is a known fact that aspirants from Kogi East has majority in numbers with Kogi west has only one which is Senator Dino Melaye and Central has only one aspirants a person of Mr Bayo Adobayi the battle is taken shape as everybody may be on his own.

Melaye speaking on ChannelTV yesterday declared that he is the most popular politician today in Kogi political discuss the statement considered to be not far from truth by political analysts in the state,with the eastern part lacking leaders to call the aspirants to order or plan on how to strategically navigate  the region from the pending political lost,with the  two former governors who suppose to play leadership roles now an interested parties, the Central or kogi West is on a standby to take the advantage of igala political division.

Reacting to the political development, the former national legal adviser to the PDP Bar. Kabir Mohammed who is also a strong supporter of Abubakar Ibrahim Ibro campaign organisation have a complete different view, without mincing words, the lawyer and political leader said,Primaries election of any form is not a popularity contest but decision of party critical stakeholders, said primaries is all about delegates insisting that the party delegates always have leaders, ward to wards, local government to local governments and zone by zones, it is strictly political gladiators decisions,” peoples put delegates there and those people will decides where the delegates should go”
AK Salihu, the former Senate aspirant from Kogi Central said he is unaware of any Mr Bayo Adobayi more or less endorsing him as a sole candidate for the region, Salihu revealed that politics is beyond social media talk, and that the duty of getting an acceptable candidate for the PDP in the coming gubernatorial election is a serious business and that he is unaware of Kogi Central taken  decision of supporting any candidate from the region.
Hon Sediq Ainoko, the former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs is of the opinion that the political awareness is now stronger than before that whoever think delegates will be push around this time is living in past, Ainoko said” iam moving round on the field, the delegates understand what they want this time and around and that they too have conscience and know what is good and what is bad, insisting that neither Senator Dino Melaye nor Mr Bayo cant have controls of the delegates from the West or Central
