Kogi Guber Aspirant,Usman Jibrin Advises Kogi easterners has been advised that the decision of the Kogi East Elders Council(KEEC), towards the installation of good governance in kogi state,will be in the best interest of the generality of the people of the area Kogi . APC frontline Governorship aspirant,Admiral Usman Jibrin CFR, bare his mind at the backdrop of speculation of the diverse position of the elders in negation to the outcome of the body in the last exercise Admiral Jibrin expressed confidence that the report of the KEEC arrived at an enlarged forum in Anyigba,will be strictly adhered to, in the interest of fair play and Justice, waved aside the ongoing speculation of the Elders coming up with another decision in the name of white paper, the aspirant dismissed the rumour with a wave of hand saying after the released of the result they have meet with the convener Ahmodu Ali and the next line of action now is for them to get the nomination form which is not yet out.
He reassured the members of the Igala nation not to express any reservation against already taken decision of the committee, geared towards improving the socio political development of the igala nation He appealed to members of the Igala nation to desist from peddling unsubstantiated statements, capable of polarizing the unity and peaceful coexistence of the area .
Vice Admiral Jibrin CFR  speaking with THE OBSERVERS TIMES wondered the rationale behind the rigour of the exercise subjected to,by members of the committee, that arrived at the careful selection of the recommended numbers from the three zones that consists of Kogi east, saying the elders may not tinker with their own recommendations He said the essence of the whole assignments will be counter productive,if what was earlier agreed as template for the emergence of the aspirants is jettisoned without recourse to its assignment “It will be a disservice to the Igala race,like an adage that says, a masquerade will not be subjected to laughter by its own fan” He appealed to the electorates and teeming supporters to relive their confidence in the committee,assuring them of people interest will be the bane of their decisions.
